Narrative:
From The short clip we can see that Waterloo Road is based in a high school full of naughty teenagers. Gabriella Wark arrived at the school and acted like she was the boss of the school, we can see this from the way she was acting such as when she disobeyed her dad and put on lipstick. The narrative suggests that Waterloo Road is about the new head teacher who is trying to improve the school but  now Gabriella  arrived and is introduced as the bad character. From the short clip we can also see that Gabriella is a very rich spoilt young lade who likes to disobey her parents. We can also see that Gabriella will make the show more interesting.

Character:
There are many of stereotypes in Waterloo Road such as 'popular kids' who are bad behaving kids that have terrible attitudes. These kids wear their own clothes and sell illegal things in school. Gabriella would be part of 'popular kids'.These kids get forced to do other students ' homework. They also get mocked because they are clever and do not have many friends . In the clip you could see good and innocent young pupils playing games with each other they were fully dressed and were in the full school uniform. The pupils that do this, are typically seen as the well behaved and boring characters as they are innocent.

Iconography:
In Waterloo road there are a lot visual codes that imply iconography for example the uniform. From the clip, we can see that a minority of students wear school uniform. From this we can imply that it isn't a strict and the teachers are not under full control of the students.

Setting:
It is obvious to the viewers that Waterloo Road is a urban drama because it is set in a rough and on a whole bad high school. There are many sizeable events that occur at school for example fallout's with friends , fights , disruptions  in class and extreme exams, this would be a perfect place for a television show. Because it is established in school, teenage kids would be able to relate with the topics that are shown in Waterloo Road. This is because hese events could have happened to them or a friend in school

WWW: No work on your blog: do we have the right blog link? Is there a technical issue?

EBI: Need to ensure all missing work is on your Media blog urgently. It’s common to have blog issues in the first couple of weeks (perhaps your work is in drafts and needs to be published) but if you don’t complete work in Media you will fail the course – it is as simple as that. You must remember that 60% of the GCSE is coursework – if you’re not willing to complete the work then we need to urgently find you an option that is 100% exam based. The work you need to post: Introductory questions; LIAR film poster analysis; Fruit bowl; Camerawork photo storyboard pictures and analysis.

LR: Complete and post all missing work urgently. Then, reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course?

I feel like my strongest piece of work was the fruit bowl.
I feel like my weakest piece of work was the camera shots me,Mo and Romar took
CENTRAL IMAGE
The man in the central image is wearing a Jordan 1 around  his neck  to show that he is a big fan of trainers. He is also wearing a Jordan shirt to show that Jordan is one of his favourite brands.
TITLE
The title is in capital letters and bold so it stands out from all other magazines. The title also has ‘SLAM presents’ in it to show that slam made this magazine. The title is also red which is a vibrant colour and makes it stand out even more.
COLOUR SCHEME
The colour scheme is black and red to show that it is a very masculine magazine and more for the male audience. The colour scheme also goes with Jordan’s first ever shoe that was ban from the NBA generating a $5000 fine as it violated the league’s uniform policy.

This medium shot allows you to see the view and too get an idea of where the scene is  and what is happening at this point of the movie. The over-the-shoulder shot allows you too see the man looking at the fugitive that appears on the newspaper. Also by adding the man in the shot you can infer that the man is gonna be identified as the man on the run.

This is a medium you know this as you can see his shoulders and above . This medium close up shot allows you too see the police officers facial expressions as he sees the fugitive. This allows the audience too also see that they are looking at each other face to face  as the shot before was a
medium close up of the fugitives eyes this is called an eyeline match.

This is a wide shot because you can see the location as you can spot the buildings around  the alleyway and an old car which is abandoned. In these few parts there was loads of  cuts too  the next bit of the movie which is a fight between the fugitive and the police.
